I can't see how that's going to work if drivers are already distracted, as distracted drivers can't see in front of them. Like another commenter said, it would pay for itself quickly if cameras were added to the buses to catch the license plates of the cars that are putting these kids at risk. The kids might need to be taught to watch for themselves when they get off the bus, too. My bus driver did that when I was a kid and took it very seriously when kids crossed the road without her saying it ok to go.

If the bus lights come on, you stop. I don't understand why so many people can't grasp that very simple, rudimentary even, concept.

Should help, though I wonder why they don't just put a camera on the bus to get license plates of cars that drive through the stop. I know it's easier said than done, but it would pay for itself pretty fast. Having the bad drivers pay for new school buses would be poetic.

Crazy af I had a fleeing case in my vehicle where no one was I hurt, no crash. Yea I put ppl at risk but no injuries. The judge told me it was a violent crime and I sat 7 years in a maximum security prison as a first time offender. How does a guy with sexual assault go to a minimum work camp wtf? I’m in Wisconsin this shit ain’t right smh 🤦‍♂️. And if your wondering my chase went on for 40 minutes through 6 city’s before I lost the police and I was only arrested 6 MONTHS later because a ex gf had a warrant and was arrested and she tried to trade me. Crazy thing is I only ran because she was in the car and had that fucking warrant . I was connected to the car due to dash cam and Walmart footage of me jumping out and ditching the car there. Plates and everything wasn’t in my name but Walmart has amazing cameras which got me prettt good and gave them a solid case. I went to trial and got smoked I got 7 in 4 out and my plea deal was for 18 months in and 2 out. So instead of the plea I thought I’d beat it but I learned public defenders don’t even remember ur name how can they beat a criminal case
